A New Hampshire content creator has been charged with criminal mischief after allegedly posting “disturbing” videos of herself contaminating store products by urinating on them, prompting an extensive investigation and a product recall dating back four years.
The investigation began on February 14 when the Keene Police Department received an anonymous tip about a woman—later identified as 23-year-old Kelli Tedford—who had uploaded videos showing her urinating on products at a local business. Police confirmed the store involved was the Monadnock Food Co-Op and immediately launched an inquiry in collaboration with the store and local health officials.
In response, Monadnock Food Co-Op issued a voluntary recall for red quinoa, white quinoa, tri-color quinoa, cornmeal, polenta, coconut shreds, and raw walnuts. The store assured the public that food safety remained a top priority and that all affected items had been removed in accordance with health department guidelines.
“While this was a highly unusual situation, we took swift action in accordance with our food safety and recall procedures,” the store stated on Friday. “The Keene Health Department has confirmed that no ongoing risks remain, and we continue to cooperate fully with authorities. We are also reviewing our security measures to further safeguard our store and customers.”
Tedford faces criminal charges as investigators continue to determine the full extent of the contamination.
