Ondo State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has appointed Taiwo Fasoranti as the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), just hours after his inauguration on Monday.
The governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Ebenezer Adeniyan, confirmed the appointment in a statement, highlighting Fasoranti’s background as a former Chairman of the Ondo State Hospitals Management Board. Fasoranti hails from Akure South Local Government Area.
In addition to this, Aiyedatiwa has reappointed Kayode Ajulo (SAN) as Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, alongside Omowunmi Isaac, who retains her position as Commissioner for Finance.
The governor also announced the reappointment of several Special Advisers:
- Engr. Johnson Alabi – Power
- Dr. Seun Osamaye – Women Affairs
- Comrade Bola Taiwo – Union Matters & Special Duties
- Prof. Simidele Odimayo – Health
Additionally, Abiola Olawoye, who previously served as the Senior Special Assistant on Infrastructure, Lands, and Housing, has been elevated to Special Adviser in the same portfolio.
Governor Aiyedatiwa directed all newly appointed officials to assume their roles immediately, stressing the importance of effective service delivery to the people of Ondo State.
