Ronaldo Wins First Saudi Pro League Title with Al Nassr

Al Nassr have been crowned Saudi Pro League champions after a commanding 4–1 victory over Damac on the final day of the season, edging out rivals Al Hilal by just two points in a tense title race.

The result secured the league crown in dramatic fashion, with the decisive win confirming Al Nassr’s first league title since the arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo in 2023.

Ronaldo, 41, played a starring role, scoring twice including a trademark free-kick and a close-range finish as Al Nassr sealed the victory in front of an expectant crowd.

The Portuguese forward, who had gone more than three years without a major club trophy since his time at Juventus, was visibly emotional as he watched the closing stages from the bench after being substituted.

The triumph adds another landmark to Ronaldo’s decorated career, as he has now won league titles in England, Spain, Italy, Portugal, and Saudi Arabia, alongside multiple UEFA Champions League honours.

Under coach Jorge Jesus, Al Nassr maintained consistency throughout a tightly contested 34-game season, ultimately holding off a strong challenge from Al Hilal.

The victory marks a major breakthrough for the club, ending a long wait for domestic silverware and confirming their dominance in one of Asia’s most competitive leagues, the Saudi Pro League.
