President Tinubu Heads To Germany For G20 Compact Conference 

President Bola Tinubu departs from Abuja to attend the G20 Compact with Africa Conference in Berlin, Germany, hosted by German Chancellor Olaf Scholz on November 20, 2023.
The G20 CwA Conference coincides with the Fourth G20 Investment Summit, co-hosted by the German government and German business associations. President Tinubu will engage with Heads of State, Governments, and international organizations to discuss strategies for bolstering investments in energy, trade, infrastructure, and technology.
Emphasizing President Tinubu’s commitment to foreign direct investment in Nigeria, the visit aims to build on momentum and reinforce Nigeria’s participation in the investment summit.
This visit underscores diplomatic reciprocity, reciprocating the German Chancellor’s recent visit to Abuja and Lagos from October 29 to October 30, 2023.
Leveraging on the opportunity presented by the Fourth G20 Investment Summit, the Nigerian delegation will follow up on productive meetings previously conducted with high-ranking representatives from German business organizations who were part of the official delegation of the German Chancellor to Nigeria.
Accompanied by key ministers, including the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Yusuf Tuggar, the Coordinating Minister of the Economy and Minister of Finance, Wale Edun, the Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, Dr. Doris Uzoka-Anite, and the Minister of Power, Adebayo Adelabu.
