Chidinma Adetshina Crowned Miss Universe Nigeria 2024

Chidinma Adetshina of Taraba State has been named Miss Universe Nigeria 2024, surpassing 24 other contestants to win the title.
The 23-year-old beauty queen was awarded the crown during the pageant’s grand finale at Eko Hotel and Suites on Saturday night.
Adetshina, who recently withdrew from the Miss South Africa pageant amid controversy over her Nigerian heritage, captured the audience’s admiration and secured the highest number of votes throughout the competition. As Miss Universe Nigeria, she will represent Nigeria at the Miss Universe 2024 pageant in Mexico later this year.
She succeeds Mitchell Ikachukwu, the previous titleholder, and will continue to uphold Nigerian beauty and excellence on the international stage. Other notable winners included Miss Anambra as the first runner-up (Miss Supranational) and Miss Ondo as the second runner-up (Miss Lush). Special awards were given to Miss Rivers, Miss Kwara, Miss Oyo (Top Model), Miss Imo (Best Costume), and Miss Abuja (Best Talent).
The top 10 contestants were from Taraba, Rivers, Edo, Ondo, Anambra, Kwara, Ogun, Plateau, Ekiti and Lagos
