Anti-Party Storm Hits Jigawa as Governor Suspends Four Aides

Umar Namadi has approved the indefinite suspension of four of his aides with immediate effect.

The suspension was announced in a statement signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Bala Ibrahim, and made available to journalists through Ismaila Ibrahim.

According to the statement, the affected officials are:

  • Abbas Makama
  • Salisu Muhammad, popularly known as Rosy Auyo
  • Ibrahim Yunusa
  • Umar Abdulkadir, also known as Alhaji Bullet Auyo

The government said the suspension takes immediate effect but did not officially disclose the reasons behind the decision.

However, findings indicate the action may be linked to recent allegations of anti-party activities involving some members of the ruling All Progressives Congress in Auyo Local Government Area.

The development comes shortly after the APC reportedly suspended a serving federal lawmaker and six party executives in the area over alleged party-related infractions.
