Kwankwaso: I’ll win 2027 presidential election

Rabiu Kwankwaso, national leader of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) and its 2023 presidential candidate, has expressed confidence in winning the 2027 presidential election. Speaking on Saturday at the inauguration of the NNPP Secretariat in Katsina, Kwankwaso stated that the party is poised to take over the presidency and other key positions across the country.

The former Kano State Governor was in Katsina to offer condolences to the Yar’Adua family following the passing of their matriarch, Hajiya Dada. Kwankwaso asserted that the NNPP is headed for success in 2027, claiming that the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has lost relevance.

He encouraged Nigerians, particularly women and youths, to resist being swayed by monetary incentives during future elections. Kwankwaso also urged party leaders to intensify efforts to ensure the NNPP’s success.

The NNPP’s Katsina State Chairman, Alhaji Armaya’u Abdulkadir, echoed Kwankwaso’s optimism, stating that the party is working to raise awareness about its new logo, which symbolizes education for all—one of Kwankwaso’s core priorities. He emphasized the importance of grassroots sensitization to promote the party’s vision.
