Renowned Afrobeat musician, Seun Kuti has been granted bail and subsequently released from detention after satisfying the conditions set by the Chief Magistrate.

Consequently, the musician has left Police facility in Panti for his house in Ikeja to rejoin his family. Kuti’s legal representatives, Adeyinka Olumide-Fusika (SAN) and Kunle Adegoke (SAN), announced that the musician was likely to secure his release on Tuesday, as directed by the Chief Magistrate. They confirmed that all the bail requirements had been met, and his release was pending administrative approval.
