Tinubu Prioritizes Infrastructure Under Renewed Hope Agenda

President Bola Tinubu has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to prioritizing infrastructural development as part of the Renewed Hope Agenda.
This pledge was highlighted during the commissioning of the Inner Southern Expressway (ISEX) from the Outer Southern Expressway (OSEX) to the Southern Parkway in Abuja.
Represented by Vice President Kashim Shettima, Tinubu expressed pride in the completion of the ISEX, the fourth road unveiled in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) within a year. He commended FCT Minister Nyesom Wike and his team for their dedication, calling Wike a transformative leader.
Tinubu praised Wike as one of the best appointments in Nigeria’s current democratic era, noting initial opposition has turned into widespread approval. Wike emphasized the administration’s focus on rehabilitating major roads in areas such as Maitama, Wuse, Garki, and Wuye, covering approximately 170km.
Wike detailed the ISEX project’s history, initially awarded in 2010 at N17 billion and revised to N18 billion in 2023, now fully paid and completed under Tinubu’s directive to finish ongoing projects. The new road marks a significant improvement in Abuja’s infrastructure, benefiting its residents.
