President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has appointed Dr. Mohammed Mohammed Aminu as the Registrar/Chief Executive Officer of the National Business and Technical Examinations Board (NABTEB).
The president also approved the appointment of Mr. Idris Olorunnimbe as Chairman of the Universal Basic Education Commission (UBEC) Board.
In a statement on Tuesday, Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, announced additional appointments, including:
- Rasaq Olajuwon as Deputy Executive Secretary (Technical), UBEC
- Tunde Ajibulu as Deputy Executive Secretary (Services), UBEC
Dr. Aminu’s Credentials & Mandate
Dr. Aminu holds a PhD in Automobile Technology and a Master’s in Procurement and Supply Chain Management. Prior to this appointment, he served as Director of Procurement at the National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure (NASENI).
President Tinubu tasked him with driving transformational leadership at NABTEB to enhance its role in assessing and certifying skilled professionals vital for Nigeria’s industrial growth.
Olorunnimbe’s Experience & Role
Mr. Olorunnimbe, an advocate of youth empowerment and education, has led innovative initiatives across education, entertainment, and sports. As Group CEO of The Temple Company, which he founded in 2016, he has pioneered transformative projects.
He also previously served on the Board of the Lagos State Employment Trust Fund (LSETF), where he chaired the Stakeholder and Governance Committees, promoting youth employment and entrepreneurship.
The appointments underscore President Tinubu’s commitment to strengthening Nigeria’s educational and technical institutions through experienced leadership.
