Dangote Petroleum Refinery has announced a price reduction for Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), lowering it from ₦990 per litre to ₦970 per litre for marketers. The company described the move as a gesture of gratitude to Nigerians and recognition of the government’s support for domestic businesses.

The reduction also acknowledges the government’s efforts in creating a conducive environment for local enterprises.

In addition, this is to thank the government for their support as this will complement the measures put in place to encourage domestic enterprise for our collective well-being,” the statement read.
The company addressed public concerns about fuel supply, assuring Nigerians of its commitment to scaling up production to meet and exceed domestic consumption demands. “We are determined to keep ramping up production to meet and surpass our domestic fuel consumption; thus, dispelling any fear of a shortfall in supply,” the statement added.
