Police Hunt Suspect in Theft of Beyoncé’s Unreleased Music and Show Plans in Atlanta

Atlanta police are actively searching for a suspect accused of stealing two suitcases containing sensitive materials tied to Beyoncé’s performances—including unreleased music, choreography plans, and set lists—authorities confirmed.

The theft occurred on July 8 in the Krog Street area, where officers responded to a report of a break-in involving a Jeep Wagoneer. According to an incident report, the vehicle belonged to members of Beyoncé’s creative team.

“The preliminary investigation revealed the vehicle had been broken into and two suitcases were stolen,” the Atlanta Police Department said in a statement. “Following further investigation, our Larceny from Auto Unit has secured an arrest warrant for a suspect.”

The suspect’s identity has not been made public, and they remain at large.

Victims of the theft were identified as Christopher Grant and Diandre Blue—Grant is reportedly a choreographer for Beyoncé, while Blue is a dancer. Blue told responding officers that the stolen items included hard drives containing unreleased, watermarked music, detailed footage and choreography plans for the tour, and both past and upcoming set lists.

Responding officers, R. Price and K. Andino, noted in their report that the laptop was actively pinging, prompting a sweep of the area by Zone 3 units. Police were able to track the device to a specific location and conducted a “suspicious person” stop nearby. Investigators also recovered partial fingerprints and obtained surveillance footage showing the break-in.

The incident remains under investigation as authorities continue their efforts to locate the suspect and recover the stolen materials.
