The Zamfara State government has approved the disbursement of 30 percent of basic salaries for state government employees, alongside the full settlement of December salaries. 

Governor Dauda Lawal conveyed this decision through a circular communicated by the Head of Service, Ahmed Aliyu Liman. According to the governor’s spokesperson, Sulaiman Bala Idris, the approval for disbursing 13th-month salaries is unprecedented in the state’s history. This aligns with the state government’s dedication to employee welfare and aims to motivate the workforce for enhanced performance.
