A Ukrainian drone attack caused damage to residential buildings and commercial facilities in several communities outside Moscow, Russian officials said, though no injuries were reported.

Moscow Region Governor Andrey Vorobyov said one drone struck an apartment building on Zemskaya Street in the city of Chekhov, damaging two apartments.

Chekhov Mayor Mikhail Sobakin said no residents were injured in the incident.

Officials said a second drone, which was intercepted and brought down, ignited a fire involving stored tires at the Chekhov Regeneration Plant, a facility that recycles used automobile tires.

Elsewhere in the Moscow region, a private home caught fire in the Dubrava cottage community in the village of Vaulovo, while another country house was damaged in the Romashkino community near the village of Dubna. Authorities said there were no casualties in either incident.

In the village of Koledino, near the city of Podolsk, a warehouse belonging to logistics company 3PL caught fire following the drone attack, according to the independent Telegram news channel Astra, which cited witness photographs and videos from the scene.

A nearby warehouse operated by retailer Wildberries was not affected and continued normal operations, the company said.

According to information published on its website, 3PL provides warehousing and storage services for several major Russian retailers and supermarket chains, including Auchan, Pyaterochka, Magnit, Lenta, Perekrestok, Familia, Fix Price and Detsky Mir.

Images posted on the company’s website appear to match the warehouse shown burning in witness footage shared after the attack.

The reported strikes are the latest in a series of Ukrainian drone operations targeting infrastructure and logistical facilities in and around the Moscow region as cross-border attacks continue amid the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine.
