President Bola Tinubu has returned to Nigeria after completing official visits to France and South Africa. His flight, Nigerian Air Force 1, landed at the presidential wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport at 9:10 pm on Wednesday.
He was welcomed by several top government officials, including Abdullahi Ganduje, national chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC); Femi Gbajabiamila, the chief of staff (CoS); Nyesom Wike, minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT); and Nuhu Ribadu, the national security adviser (NSA).
Tinubu’s trip began in France, where he visited from November 27 to December 1, invited by French President Emmanuel Macron for a three-day state visit. On December 1, he traveled to Cape Town, South Africa, to co-chair the 11th session of the Nigeria-South Africa Bi-National Commission (BNC) meeting with South African President Cyril Ramaphosa.
