Monday’s Met Gala welcomed a star-studded lineup of fashion icons, including Jennifer Lopez, Zendaya, and a host of others, gracing the green-tinged carpet adorned with live foliage in a mesmerizing display of flora and fauna-inspired looks.
Lopez dazzled in a silver leaf-adorned gown, exuding goddess-like elegance, while Zendaya captivated in a vampy, fantasy-inspired ensemble, making a rare double appearance on the steps of The Metropolitan Museum of Art.
Serving as co-chairs for the prestigious event were Lopez, Zendaya, along with Chris Hemsworth, and Bad Bunny. The annual fundraiser, held at The Metropolitan Museum of Art, featured the museum’s exhibition titled “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion,” showcasing archival pieces, some of which are so delicate they will be displayed in glass coffins reminiscent of “Sleeping Beauty.”
Guests adhered to the event’s dress code, themed “The Garden of Time,” drawing inspiration from J.G. Ballard’s 1962 short story of the same name, ensuring an evening of enchantment and glamour.

Meanwhile, Zendaya made a triumphant return to the event after a five-year hiatus, showcasing her fashion prowess in a vibrant ensemble featuring shades of blue and green, complemented by an eye-catching headpiece adorned with leaf accents. Her previous Met Gala appearance, in a Maison Margiela creation in peacock colors, had left a lasting impression.
Lopez adorned herself with exquisite Tiffany & Co. diamonds, notably a captivating bird motif necklace featuring a dazzling centerpiece diamond weighing over 20 carats.
Mindy Kaling turned heads in a sand-colored gown with towering swirls that cascaded dramatically down her back. Designed by Indian couturier Gaurav Gupta, the gown offered both elegance and practicality, with a removable back perfect for dining ease.
Usher made a statement in a dark and mysterious ensemble, holding a single red rose while clad in a sleek black suit complemented by a matching wide-brimmed hat and a striking black brooch adorning his lapel.
