President Tinubu to Observe Eid-El-Fitr in Lagos

President Bola Tinubu is set to spend the Eid-El-Fitr celebrations in Lagos State, departing from Abuja on Sunday, as confirmed by presidential spokesman Ajuri Ngelale.
In a statement issued on Saturday, Ngelale said that the President’s decision to observe Eid-El-Fitr in Lagos is a mark of respect for the solemn occasion, which signifies the end of Ramadan.
Tinubu intends to commemorate the event with prayers for Nigeria and quality time with family.
“In deference to the solemn occasion, which marks the end of Ramadan, the President will observe the moment in prayers for Nigeria and with family,” Ajuri said in a Saturday statement.
Despite observing the holiday, President Tinubu will maintain his commitment to official duties both during and after the Eid-El-Fitr festivities, ensuring continuity in governance and leadership responsibilities.
“The President will continue official duties during and after the Eid-el-Fitr holidays.”
