President Tinubu Inaugurates Key Projects in Enugu State

President Bola Tinubu has inaugurated several landmark projects executed by Governor Peter Mbah’s administration during his first official visit to Enugu State on Saturday.

Governor Mbah, alongside Abia State Governor Alex Otti, Minister of Works Dave Umahi, Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives Benjamin Kalu, and other top government officials, welcomed Tinubu at the airport.

The projects inaugurated include:

  • 30 smart green schools
  • 60 completed Type 2 primary health centres
  • The 19-kilometre Airport-New Haven–Bisalla and Okpara Square roads
  • The new International Conference Centre
  • A state-of-the-art command and control centre with 150 AI-equipped patrol vehicles

President Tinubu emphasized the importance of infrastructure in driving investment, job creation, and securing a brighter future.

“Infrastructural development is essential to attract local and foreign investment, create jobs, and give us a better tomorrow from today,” Tinubu said.

Commending Governor Mbah’s vision, Tinubu added:
“Governor Peter Mbah is placing Enugu on the path of 21st-century development. You’re a good thinker, Mbah, and a friend. Together, we can build Nigeria’s future using technology to promote investment and encourage private sector participation in politics.”

The president formally declared the projects inaugurated, lauding Mbah for his transformative efforts in Enugu State.
