The highly anticipated flag off ceremony of LAMM (Lanre Mosaku Movement) kicked off on Friday the 14th of February 2025, marking the beginning of significant journey.
The ceremony was attended by notable personalities like His royal majesty, king (Prof) Saka Adetola Matemilola (Olowu of Owu kingdom), Royal father of the day, Honorable Titi Oseni, Mother of the day and Csp. Omolola Odutola, the keynote speaker.
In her keynote address, Csp. Omolola Odutola emphasized on the need and importance of giving hope to the needy while also urging people to live a hopeful life. She further said movement like this will help curb and fight crime in Nigeria as hunger pushes people to commit questionable crimes.
Csp. Omolola Odutola presented a medal on behalf of the police force to Honorable Lanre Mosaku acknowledging his effort as a proud son of Owu kingdom and also as someone who fights crime indirectly.
His royal majesty king (Prof.) Saka Adetola Matemilola also gave a speech commending Honorable Lanre Mosaku on bringing together Lanre Mosaku Movement in furtherance of the exemplary leadership of Owu people. Furthermore, he appreciated his efforts on finally launching the movement which will be of immense benefit to the people of Owu and by extension Ogun State. He emphasized the need to care for the people saying that one does not have to be very rich before embarking on charitable works.
The flag off ceremony was set in motion with Honorable Titi Oseni officially popping the balloons, thereby showcasing LAMM to the world.
Honorable Lanre Mosaku and the parent of the day presented palliatives to the participants. Twenty participants were given palliatives with a cash token while the rest of the participants were given palliatives only.
The organizers expressed gratitude to his royal majesty for his constant encouragement, they also extended appreciation to Honorable Titi Oseni for her unwavering encouragement.
Beneficiaries were full of gratitude to LAMM for putting a smile on their faces at a time when things are difficult for people in Nigeria.
