Harris and Trump Clash in Fiery First Presidential Debate as Election Race Tightens

It was a night of passion, concern and life changing commitment at the National  Constitution Center in Philadelphia with the  two Presidential Candidates  vying for the Presidential seat.

The first presidential debate between Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump was a fiery showdown that extended over 90 minutes.

The event began with a handshake initiated by Harris but quickly turned contentious as she criticized Trump’s policies and remarks, arguing for a new generation of leadership for America. Trump, in turn, repeatedly targeted Harris on issues like Afghanistan and immigration, drawing parallels between her and President Joe Biden.

With just eight weeks remaining until Election Day, the debate came at a pivotal moment in a tightly contested race, as recent polls indicate a close competition between the candidates.

The Presidential debate was anchored by ABC News with focus on the Economy, Immigration, Border Control, Abortion, Roe V Wade among others.
