France Summit: Tinubu Leaves For London Ahead Of Eid-el-Kabir Festival

PBAT
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has traveled to London, United Kingdom, for a short private visit after his participation in the ‘A New Global Financing Pact’ event held by French President Emmanuel Macron in Paris, France.
President Tinubu, who was supposed to return to Abuja on Saturday, will now be in the country in time for the Eid-el-Kabir festival.
Tinubu met with fellow heads of state and government, global corporate leaders, and chief executives of leading multilateral and development finance institutions from across the world during the summit for “A New Global Financing Pact.”
The summit provided the President with the chance to express his advocacy for expanding fiscal flexibility, economic justice for Africa as the globe accelerates the pace of energy transition, and the importance of addressing the pressing issues of poverty and climate change on a global scale.
