Delta Suspends New York-Tel Aviv Flights Until End of Year Due to Regional Conflict

Delta Airlines has announced a suspension of its flights between New York’s John F. Kennedy Airport and Tel Aviv, Israel, through December 31, citing “ongoing conflict in the region.”

In a statement released Thursday, the airline explained that the decision was based on security guidance and intelligence reports.

While Delta’s own flights are paused, travelers can still book trips to Tel Aviv through Delta’s website via partner airlines, such as EL AL Israel Airlines.

“Customers affected by the schedule changes will be notified through the Fly Delta app and the contact details provided in their reservation as the cancellations are processed,” Delta said in the statement.
