Dangote Petroleum Refinery and Petrochemicals has announced a fresh ₦15 reduction in the pump price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), commonly known as petrol.
In a statement released on Thursday, the refinery outlined the new regional pricing as follows:
- ₦875 per litre in Lagos
- ₦885 per litre in the South West
- ₦895 per litre in the North West and North Central
- ₦905 per litre in the South East, South South, and North East
These revised prices will be implemented across its partner filling stations, which include MRS, AP, Heyden, Optima, TechnOil, and Hyde.
The company urged other marketers to join its growing network of distributors, aligning with President Bola Tinubu’s Nigeria First policy, which emphasizes the prioritization of locally produced goods and services.
Since beginning operations, Dangote Refinery has consistently pursued cost-reduction initiatives, citing a cumulative ₦125 per litre cut in February 2025 and another ₦45 reduction in April.
In addition to petrol, the refinery has also slashed prices of other major products like diesel and Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) measures that have helped lower energy and transportation costs across Nigeria.
