He expressed appreciation to residents for their support, assuring them that his government remains committed to transparency and responsible management of public resources.
“What we have achieved in three years is proof that when government and citizens pull in the same direction, progress is possible,” the governor said.
“As we mark this anniversary, I renew my commitment to you: to lead with transparency, listen more than I speak and ensure that every project, every policy, and every naira spent reflects your interest.”
Fubara acknowledged that more work remains to be done and called on all groups in the state including youths, elders, traders, teachers, artisans, and professionals to continue supporting development efforts.
He also used the occasion to congratulate Rivers residents and Nigerians as the country marks 27 years of uninterrupted democratic governance, describing it as a reflection of national resilience and unity despite differences.
