White House Pushes Back on Health Rumors Surrounding Trump

The White House moved to quash growing speculation about the health of President Donald Trump after unfounded rumors spread online suggesting he had been hospitalized.

The speculation intensified after Trump, 79, had been out of public view for several days, prompting claims on social media that he had been admitted to Walter Reed Medical Center in Maryland.

Administration officials quickly dismissed the reports. The White House’s rapid response account criticized the rumors as baseless conspiracy theories, emphasizing that the president remained actively working.

Additional reassurance came from reports that a Marine sentry was stationed outside the West Wing—an indication that the president was present in the White House.

Communications Director Steven Cheung also sought to calm concerns, stating that Trump had been working continuously from the Oval Office over the Easter weekend.

Trump was last seen publicly on Wednesday evening, when he delivered a national address focused on the ongoing conflict with Iran and broader U.S. policy priorities.

Officials have not indicated any health concerns, and the White House maintains that the president remains fully engaged in his duties.
