The All Progressives Congress has scheduled Tuesday, March 24, 2026, for the screening of aspirants vying for national offices ahead of its convention.

In a notice issued by the party’s Aspirants’ Screening Committee, only candidates who have successfully purchased and submitted their Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms will be eligible to participate in the exercise.

The screening will be held at the Transcorp Hilton Abuja, starting at 9 a.m., with attendance made compulsory for all aspirants. Participants are expected to appear in person with all relevant documents for verification.

The notice, signed by committee secretary Isa Yuguda, urged candidates to arrive early to ensure a smooth process and provided contact details for further enquiries.

The exercise forms part of preparations for the APC national convention scheduled to take place from March 25 to March 28, 2026.

The party’s congress process, which began with membership e-registration between December 1, 2025, and January 30, 2026, has progressed through ward, local government, state, and zonal levels, including screening and resolution of appeals at each stage.
