Former Special Adviser to President Bola Tinubu on Political Matters, Hakeem Baba-Ahmed, has said the president would make the “worst” leader if he returns to power in 2027.
Baba-Ahmed made the remarks on Tuesday during an interview on Channels Television’s Political Paradigm.
“I haven’t seen any improvement in the records of President Tinubu since I left. On the contrary, I have seen a deterioration. The nation is a lot more insecure now, and levels of desperation and poverty, especially in the North, are more pronounced,” he said.
He criticised the president’s reliance on political alliances for re-election, describing it as “poor thinking” and “not strategic.”
“I’m sorry to say that I think President Tinubu will make the worst president if he returns to power in 2027,” Baba-Ahmed concluded.
