FC Barcelona has confirmed that the La Liga matchday 13 fixture against Athletic Club, previously scheduled for Saturday, November 22 at 16:15, will now take place at the newly renovated Spotify Camp Nou.

The announcement follows the Club’s receipt of the first occupancy license for Phase 1B of the stadium redevelopment, increasing usable capacity to 45,401 spectators. The license grants approval for full operation of the Lateral area, adding to the earlier Phase 1A authorization that reopened the Tribune and South Goal sections.

Club officials noted that construction has now moved into Phase 1C, which focuses on restoring activity in the North Goal once all safety, operational, and comfort requirements for members and visiting fans are fully satisfied.

On the UEFA Champions League front, Barcelona is currently coordinating with UEFA to host the upcoming match against Eintracht Frankfurt at Spotify Camp Nou. Although the Club says it has already met the necessary standards, final confirmation from UEFA is still pending.
