President Bola Tinubu has assured Nigerians that the country will surmount its current economic challenges and that poverty will not define its future.
Speaking on Wednesday in Abuja at the Nigerian Guild of Editors (NGE) Conference, Tinubu acknowledged the difficulties associated with the reforms his administration has implemented, emphasizing that they are designed to place Nigeria’s economy on a strong and sustainable footing.
“We may be poor; poverty is not going to be our milestone. We are going to come out of it,” the President said.
He also highlighted the critical role of all stakeholders, particularly the media, in supporting efforts to strengthen the nation and improve the economy.
