A Nigerian lady simply identified as MumZee, who gained attention on microblogging platform X (formally Twitter) for waking up at 4:50 am to cook for her husband, has received generous gifts from various entities.
“I’ve always been too lazy to wake up and get his lunch ready. But the day he told me a colleague brought two spoons so he’ll eat with her, was the day I set my alarm for 4:50 a.m,” the tweet reads.
The tweet generated mixed reactions online, with some criticizing and others supporting her dedication.
The Nigerian National Petroleum Company, Limited (NNPCL) provided her with a petrol voucher worth N200,000 after her viral tweet. In the tweet, MumZee shared her commitment to waking up early for her husband’s breakfast.
Reacting to the viral tweet, NNPCL, in a post on its official X handle, offered MumZee a free ₦200,000 PMS voucher, redeemable at any of their 900+ retail stations nationwide.

Additionally, Infinix Nigeria gifted her and her husband their latest smartphone, the Infinix Hot 40.
The National Information Development Agency (NITDA) pledged two laptops and a one-year internet subscription. Kuda Bank, a fintech company, promised to gift N2 million to MumZee.
In a screenshot shared on the platform, a fintech company operating in Nigeria and the United Kingdom, Kuda Bank expressed joy in matching the ₦2,044,133.94 balance seen in MumZee’s account.
Reacting to a screenshot of over N2 million naira shared on X by MumZee on Saturday, Kuda wrote, “As your bank, we’re happy to match the ₦2,044,133.94 balance in your screenshot. Keep doing you, Debbie!
