Dr. Agbu Kefas, the governor of Taraba State, has approved the immediate release of N71 million for the enrollment of 1,166 Local Government retirees for monthly pension payments.
Yusuf Sanda, the Governor’s Chief Press Secretary, announced the approval in a press release.
He stated that local government workers who retired between July 2018 and May 2023 will be enrolled for monthly pension payments.
Primary school instructors, local government staff, Primary Health Care Development Agency staff, and traditional council staff are among those who will be enrolled.
