The meeting, announced by the mayor’s office on Sunday, will focus on issues affecting New York City and its residents. Officials have not released additional details about the specific topics expected to be discussed.
Monday’s meeting will mark the third publicly reported meeting between Trump and Mamdani.
The two first met at the White House in November 2025, shortly after Mamdani was elected mayor. They met again at the White House in February.
Unlike their previous meetings in Washington, Monday’s discussion will take place at Gracie Mansion, the official residence of New York City’s mayor.
Trump is in New York as world leaders gather for the United Nations General Assembly. He is scheduled to address the gathering during his visit to the city.
The meeting comes as New York City and the federal government continue to interact on a range of issues affecting the city, including immigration, public safety, housing and federal funding.
