Real Madrid were crowned the Club World Cup champions after a 5-3 victory over Al Hilal on Saturday at the Prince Moulay Abdallah Stadium in Rabat, Morocco.
The Club World Cup is Madrid’s second trophy of the season, adding to the European Super Cup won at the start of the season.
Two goals a piece from Vinicius Jr. and Frederick Valverde, and another from Karim Benzema led Madrid to a record-extending fifth Club World Cup trophy. With a final blow of the whistle, Real Madrid was crowned the FIFA Club World Cup champions for a fifth time while Carlo Ancelotti joins Pep Guardiola as the only manager to win the tournament on three separate occasions.
