Tinubu Honors Chinua Achebe by Naming M18 Road in Abuja

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has inaugurated the M18 road in Abuja’s Guzape District, naming it after the late Professor Chinua Achebe, renowned author of “Things Fall Apart” (1958).
Achebe, who passed away in 2013, is celebrated globally for his contributions to literature.
This announcement follows the recent naming of the Northern Parkway road in Abuja after another esteemed Nigerian author, Wole Soyinka.
These dedications are part of President Tinubu’s initiative to honor Nigerian literary icons and mark his first year in office with various projects in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). The news was shared by the president’s special adviser on social media, Dada Olusegun.
