President Bola Tinubu congratulates Nigerian-born Professor, Ijeoma Uchegbu for her election as President of Wolfson College at the University of Cambridge.
Prof. Uchegbu, a Professor of Pharmaceutical Nanoscience and top-flight researcher at University College London (UCL).
Tinubu praises her accomplishments, highlighting her as an exceptional ambassador for Nigeria and commending her efforts to advance pharmaceutical science.
The President, according to a statement on Sunday by his spokesman, Ajuri Ngelale, celebrated “the outstanding accomplishment and commends Professor Uchegbu for being an excellent ambassador for the country and for her relentless efforts to advance the frontiers of pharmaceutical science.”
He applauded Professor Uchegbu as “epitomizing the ingenuity, brilliance, and hard work that are consistently synonymous with the great Nigerian people both at home and abroad.”
The President wishes Prof. Uchegbu continued success in her new role, emphasizing the government’s commitment to fostering connections with the Nigerian Diaspora.
