President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of new chief executives for three key federal agencies.
According to a statement by Segun Imohiosen, Director of Information and Public Relations in the Office of the Secretary to the Government, the appointments are as follows:
- Bello Bawa Bwari – Director-General, National Biosafety Management Agency (four-year term, effective September 18, 2025).
- Aminu Junaidu – Chairman, Investment and Security Tribunal (five-year term, effective September 18, 2025).
- Olayiwola Nurudeen Awakan (popular Television Continental journalist) – Director-General, Nigerian Tourism Development Corporation (four-year term, effective September 2, 2025).
Imohiosen said the appointments reflect President Tinubu’s commitment to strengthening institutions and driving growth across critical sectors. He added that the President urged the new appointees to deploy their expertise to advance national progress.
