Victor Osimhen has earned a nomination as a contender for this year’s Ballon d’Or. The Nigerian striker becomes the first Nigerian to be up for the prize since Kanu Nwankwo in 1999.
The 24- year-old will compete with the likes of Lionel Messi and Erling Haaland for this year’s Ballon d’Or after leading the Partenopei to scudetto for the first time in more than three decades.
