Actress, singer, and entrepreneur Selena Gomez has married record producer Benny Blanco, the couple confirmed on social media over the weekend.
In a series of images posted to Instagram on Saturday, Gomez shared intimate glimpses of their wedding day, including a photo of her in a classic white gown and Blanco in a sharp black tuxedo. The post was captioned simply: “🤍 9.27.25 🤍.”
The couple’s nuptials drew celebratory reactions online, including from the official Instagram account of Hulu’s Only Murders in the Building, the series in which Gomez stars. “Our Mabel is MARRIED” the account commented.
A representative for Gomez declined to provide further details, and Blanco’s team has yet to respond to media inquiries.
The wedding comes nearly a year after Gomez announced the couple’s engagement in December 2024, marking the occasion with an Instagram post showcasing her engagement ring and the message: “forever begins now.” Blanco later described the proposal as a complete surprise, calling it “the sickest” in an interview with Interview magazine.
The couple first met when Gomez was 16 years old, she revealed in an August 2025 appearance on Jake Shane’s podcast. However, their relationship remained platonic for years until the two collaborated on the 2019 single “I Can’t Get Enough”—a track that marked the beginning of their deeper connection. Blanco also appeared in the song’s music video, notably wearing a teddy bear costume.
Reflecting on their journey, Blanco told WSJ Magazine in 2024, “It’s crazy how your partner could just be sitting there the whole time… and you don’t even notice, and you have that ‘Clueless’ moment where you’re like, ‘Wait, I’m in love.’”
The couple went public with their relationship in 2023, when Gomez revealed via Instagram that they had been dating privately for six months. That same year, they collaborated again on her single “Single Soon.”
Throughout 2024 and 2025, Blanco remained a steady presence during Gomez’s professional milestones, including her Emilia Pérez film premiere and the 2025 Academy Awards. In February 2025, they released their first joint album, I Said I Love You First, marking their creative and personal partnership.
The couple’s wedding caps a multi-year love story that has captivated fans and fellow artists alike.
