PVC Registration: Massive Youth Turnout At TBS Sparks Reaction Online

A video of young Nigerians queuing for voter registration ahead of the 2023 general elections made headlines on social media.
Youths turned out in massive numbers to participate in the ongoing voter registration exercise.

In the viral video, youths can be seen queuing at Tafewa Balewa Square to register for their Permanent Voters Card.

This comes after Nigerian musician Falz scheduled a free performance on June 11th at the Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS) with Password as Permanent Voters Card (PVC) or Voters Registration Slip.

Unregistered Nigerians will be able to register at the event and receive a pass with their registration slip.

In response to the video, Nigerians praised the youths who took part in the voter registration process, while others praised social media for facilitating the action.
