President Tinubu Appoints Eight Special Advisers

President Bola Tinubu of Nigeria approved the appointment of eight Special Advisers on Thursday.
The appointment was disclosed in a statement issued on Thursday by Abiodun Oladunjoye, Director of Information at the State House.
Mr. Dele Alake was named Special Adviser, Special Duties, Communications and Strategy; Mr. Yau Darazo, Special Adviser, Political and Intergovernmental Affairs; Mr. Wale Edun, Special Adviser, Monetary Policies; and Mrs. Olu Verheijen, Special Adviser, Energy, according to the statement.
Other appointees included Mr. Zachaeus Adedeji, Special Adviser, Revenue; Mr. Nuhu Ribadu, Special Adviser, Security; Mr. John Ugochukwu Uwajumogu, Special Adviser, Industry, Trade and Investment; and Dr Salma Ibrahim Anas, Special Adviser, Health.
This comes only weeks after Tinubu appointed former House Speaker Femi Gbajabiamila as his Chief of Staff (COS), and George Akume as the Secretary to the Government of the Federation of Nigeria (SGF).
Gbajabiamila took over as CoS on Wednesday after resigning from the House of Representatives as a lawmaker.
