Onana Decides To Represent Cameroon Again

Andre Onana

Manchester United goalkeeper, Andre Onana, has confirmed his decision to come out of international retirement to represent Cameroon again .

The 27-year-old Cameroonian on Monday made the return to the Indomitable Lions’ squad for their upcoming Africa Cup of Nations qualifier. Remember Onana left the national team camp during the 2022 World Cup in Qatar after falling out with head coach Rigobert Song over tactics. Shortly afterward, he announced his retirement from international football.

Despite an olive branch being extended in recent weeks, Onana was still thought to be in two minds about returning to international duty. However, he has now decided to answer the call and is in line to start against Burundi next week.
