The New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) has declared its ambition to become Nigeria’s ruling party by 2027, with Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso as its presidential candidate.

Speaking at the party’s National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting in Abuja on Thursday, NNPP National Chairman, Dr. Ajuki Ahmad, affirmed that the party is fully prepared to contest and win the next general election.

“Our party is facing only minor challenges, unlike others whose very existence is in question,” Ahmad said. “Those who chose to break away from us are merely throwing pebbles at our windows they lack the moral, political, and legal basis to harm us.”

He dismissed reports of a parallel leadership faction in Apapa, Lagos, describing such claims as baseless.

“The questionable document they have been brandishing like a weapon of mass destruction is nothing more than a piece of paper. We will soon tear it apart,” he added.

Ahmad urged NNPP leaders to remain united and brace for the journey ahead, emphasizing that perseverance and focus would lead to victory in 2027.

“No worthy journey is easy. We, as NNPP, embody the hopes and future of our youth and are determined to lift Nigeria from its current state,” he declared.

He called on party members to rally behind the vision, expressing confidence that NNPP will usher in a new era of progress and national unity.
