King Charles Reunites With Prince Harry, Meghan and Their Children

King Charles III and Queen Camilla met privately with Prince Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, Meghan, Duchess of Sussex and their two children on Friday in what marks the family’s first known reunion since 2022.

A royal source confirmed  that the meeting took place at Highgrove House, the king and queen’s country residence in Gloucestershire.

The gathering is believed to be the first time Charles and Camilla have seen Prince Archie, 7, and Princess Lilibet, 5, in nearly three years.

Neither Buckingham Palace nor representatives for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have publicly commented on the private family meeting.

Prince Harry, the younger son of King Charles and the late Diana, Princess of Wales, has been in the United Kingdom this week attending a series of charitable engagements.

Earlier on Friday, he visited Birmingham for an event promoting the Invictus Games, which the city is scheduled to host next July.

Before the reunion, it had not been publicly known whether Meghan and the couple’s children had accompanied Harry to Britain.

Harry has previously expressed concerns about bringing his family to the United Kingdom because of security issues following the couple’s decision to step back from royal duties in 2020 and relocate to California.

In May 2025, Harry lost a legal appeal challenging the British government’s decision to reduce his publicly funded security protection after he and Meghan ceased serving as working members of the royal family.

Friday’s meeting marks a rare family reunion amid years of well-publicized tensions between the Sussexes and the British royal family.
