Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Fintiri, on Monday, announced a cabinet reshuffle aimed at optimizing the strengths of his team and improving services for the state’s residents.
The Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Mr. Humwashi Wonosikou, revealed that the changes, which impact four ministries, are effective immediately.
In the reshuffle, former Commissioner for Information, Neido Geoffrey Kufulto, has been reassigned as the Commissioner for Women Affairs.
The former Commissioner for Entrepreneurship, James Iliya, will now take over Kufulto’s previous role. Mr. Hamajumba Gatugel has been appointed as the new Commissioner for Entrepreneurship, while Mrs. Wunfe Anthony has been moved to the position of Commissioner of Transportation.
Governor Fintiri expressed confidence in his commissioners’ abilities to fulfill their new responsibilities, stating, “This reshuffle is designed to maximize our team’s strengths and improve services to the people of Adamawa State.” He also warned against sabotage and urged the commissioners to diligently discharge their duties.
Additionally, Governor Fintiri encouraged the affected commissioners to collaborate for a seamless transition and to continue serving the state with dedication and commitment.
