Gov. Ododo to Launch New Security Vehicles for Enhanced Community Policing 

Kogi State Governor, Ahmed Usman Ododo, is set to unveil a fleet of new security vehicles today, aimed at bolstering the effectiveness of community policing across all 21 local government areas.
This initiative, spearheaded through the Kogi State vigilante service, seeks to elevate the administration’s commitment to community safety.
The governor’s office, represented by Special Adviser on Media Ismaila Isah, emphasized that these vehicles mark the beginning of a new era in community policing, reinforcing Kogi State’s security framework.
Additionally, Governor Ododo commended recent law enforcement efforts in Kogi East, particularly the apprehension of a notorious kidnapping syndicate by vigilant local authorities.
Expressing gratitude to Dekina Local Government Area’s caretaker chairman, John Urah Ikani, Governor Ododo highlighted the importance of proactive security measures in preempting criminal activities. He reiterated the government’s dedication to supporting local administrations in ensuring the safety and security of all residents throughout the state.
