Folarin Balogun Finalizes Transfer From Arsenal To Monaco

The transfer of Folarin Balogun from Arsenal to Ligue 1 club Monaco has been finalized.
The French club paid the English Premier League club £34 million to secure the striker’s services.
A 17.5% sell-on clause was also added into the deal.
A five-year contract was signed by the 22-year-old.
Balogun caught attention after scoring 22 goals in 39 games while on loan from Arsenal to Stade Reims, a Ligue 1 club, last season.
The forward leaves Arsenal after having been at the club since the age of 10.
The American footballer born in Nigeria was a target for Monaco, Inter Milan, and Chelsea.
The three European clubs are said to be very interested in the England former youth international who is now representing the United States senior football team.
The 22-year-old forward is reportedly valued at £50 million by Arsenal this summer.
Recall how Folarin Balogun, who spent the previous season on loan at French Ligue 1 side Reims, made a significant statement in the world of football.
Balogun shocked the majority of football fans during the aforementioned season by scoring 22 goals for the French side.
Mikel Arteta, the coach, is unwilling to give him a chance at Arsenal despite the fact that Gabriel Jesus, his preferred striker, is battling an injury.
