The Former Federation Attorney General and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami (SAN), is being subjected to a probe by the Bola Ahmed Tinubu-led administration.
Malami will reportedly be questioned on at least five dubious transactions while he was in office, according to TheCable.
According to sources, his interrogation will be handled by a security agency.
It was gathered that Abubakar Malami’s name has cropped up in a number of questionable deals under the last administration.
The following five transactions are being looked into:
1. The mysterious payment of $496 million to Global Steel Holdings Ltd (GSHL) as settlement for the termination of the Ajaokuta Steel concession nine years after the Indian company had waved all claims for compensation.
