CAC Shifts Implementation of New Service Fees to Oct. 1

The Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) has again postponed the implementation of its revised service fees, moving the effective date to October 1, 2025.

The fees were originally scheduled to begin on August 1 but were shifted to September 1 due to technical issues on the upgraded Company Registration Portal. With this latest extension, the Commission said it is prioritising portal stability to ensure a seamless user experience before mid-September.

In a public notice issued on Saturday in Abuja, CAC explained that the deferment was aimed at delivering optimum value to customers and stakeholders while ensuring a smooth transition into the new service regime.

The Commission added that the decision underscores its commitment to efficient, customer-centric services aligned with global best practices. It further appreciated its customers for their patience during what it described as a critical phase of transformation, reaffirming its resolve to build an intelligent registry that supports Nigeria’s ease of doing business reforms.
