President Muhammadu Buhari has arrived in London, United Kingdom, for his scheduled medical check-up.
He left Nigeria’s shores on Monday (yesterday) for the medical trip.
President Buhari will be away until the second week of November 2022, according to a statement by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina.
He also described the medical trip as a routine check-up.
According to Adesina, “President Muhammadu Buhari leaves for London, United Kingdom, October 31, 2022, for routine medical check-up.
“He returns to the country in the second week of November, 2022.”

He uploaded a video on Twitter in the early hours of Tuesday with the caption: “President Muhammadu Buhari arrives London, United Kingdom, for routine medical check-up. The President to return to the country in the second week of November, 2022.”
Prior to this latest announcement, the President took his medical trip in March of this year.
