On Sunday, the victims of the passenger boat mishap in Gbajibo, a community in the Mokwa Local Government Area (LGA), of Niger State, were laid to rest amid tears and conflicting emotions.
In a boat mishap that happened in Gbajibo on Sunday morning, twenty-four people were confirmed dead.
It was learned that a questionable number of people from the catastrophic incident involving neighborhood farmers were still unaccounted for.
The victims were from Gbajibo, Ekwa, and Yankeiade, all of which are located in Mokwa LGA, according to Daily Trust.
The mishap was reported to have happened on Sunday, September 10 at around 8 a.m.
However, the victims were all collectively buried in accordance with Islamic rites.
